Trinity Presbyterian Church required a highly customized structure that combined architectural beauty with complex engineering demands. The design called for high-deflection and high-collateral loading to support intricate interior finishes, along with a hidden interior roof mechanical yard to preserve the clean, open aesthetic of the worship space. Additional challenges included an integrated CFMF/hybrid mezzanine, fully vaulted and exposed ceilings, a fully stone exterior, and a phased delivery schedule to align with project sequencing and budget requirements.
Our team collaborated closely with the architect and general contractor to engineer a system that blended conventional and pre-engineered methods seamlessly. The integrated CFMF/hybrid mezzanine provided both strength and flexibility, while the concealed mechanical yard was designed to maintain the visual purity of the vaulted ceiling spans. Strategic coordination across trades allowed phased delivery without disrupting construction flow.
The finished church is a testament to thoughtful design and precise execution — a structure that balances architectural vision, structural performance, and functional elegance. From its fully stone façade to its vaulted interior ceilings, Trinity Presbyterian Church stands as a showcase of collaboration, craftsmanship, and faith brought to life through engineering excellence.
